The Looking for Lincoln Heritage Coalition is a non-profit organization based in Springfield, Illinois. Founded in 1994, the organization seeks to preserve and promote the legacy of President Abraham Lincoln. The Coalition works to develop and maintain a network of sites associated with Lincoln's life and work across the state of Illinois. These sites include the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, the Lincoln Home National Historic Site in Springfield, the Lincoln Tomb State Historic Site in Oak Ridge Cemetery, and the New Salem State Historic Site near Petersburg. These include the Abraham Lincoln Association, the Illinois Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission, and the National Park Service.

The Looking for Lincoln Heritage Coalition is focused on increasing public understanding and appreciation of Lincoln's life and legacy. Through its programs and activities, the Coalition works to make Lincoln's story relevant to today's audiences, and to foster a deeper understanding of the importance of his life and work. As part of this mission, the Coalition also seeks to provide a platform for discussion and debate about the many issues that Lincoln's life and legacy raise.
