The Cornville Historical Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the history and culture of Cornville, Arizona. The Society was established in 2003 by a small group of local residents who wanted to ensure that the stories and artifacts of the area’s past were not forgotten. Since then, the Society has grown to include over 250 members, and its mission has expanded to include education and advocacy.

The Society is currently based in a historic building in the heart of Cornville, which serves as a museum and research center. The museum houses an extensive collection of artifacts related to the area’s history, including photographs, maps, documents, and other items from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Society also sponsors various educational programs, including lectures and workshops, and maintains a library of books and periodicals related to the area’s history.

The Society hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including an annual picnic and the Cornville Historical Society Symposium. The Symposium is an annual gathering of historians and researchers who come together to share their research and perspectives on the history of Cornville and the surrounding area. The Cornville Historical Society also organizes regular field trips to historical sites and other locations of interest.

The Society’s efforts have helped to preserve the unique history and culture of Cornville, and its members are passionate about sharing their knowledge with the community.
