Lake Forest Live Steamers Railway Museum Incorporated in Elgin IL is a museum dedicated to the celebration and preservation of historic railroad equipment. The museum is home to a large collection of model and full-sized steam locomotives and rolling stock, as well as a variety of other railroad artifacts. Established in 1978, the museum is operated by a nonprofit organization and is open to the public for a nominal fee.

Visitors to the museum can explore the several acres of outdoor exhibit areas and indoor displays that make up the museum grounds. Outdoors the museum features a half-mile loop of track for the model locomotives, including several bridges and trestles.
