The Oakton Historic District Committee is a local government organization in Evanston, Illinois dedicated to preserving and promoting the historic character of the Oakton neighborhood. The committee is responsible for reviewing and approving the design of any exterior changes to buildings within the designated historic district, which includes more than 200 homes and buildings constructed between the late 19th and early 20th century.

The committee also hosts events and workshops for property owners and the general public to increase awareness and appreciation of historic preservation.
