The Flagg Creek Historical Society (FCHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the history of Burr Ridge, Illinois. Established in 1990, FCHS works to protect and promote the region’s cultural heritage and to foster an appreciation of the area’s history.

FCHS is based in the historic Flagg Creek settlement, which dates back to the mid-1800s. The society's mission is to ensure that the area's unique history is preserved and interpreted for future generations. To this end, FCHS works to collect, document, and preserve artifacts, documents, photographs, and oral histories related to the area’s history. The society also operates a museum, library, and research center, as well as a variety of educational and public programs, such as lectures, exhibits, and field trips.

FCHS is governed by a board of directors and is supported by a variety of local organizations, businesses, and individuals. The society is a member of the Illinois State Historical Society and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

FCHS works to ensure that the unique history of Burr Ridge, Illinois, is preserved and interpreted for future generations. Through its museum, library, and research center, as well as its educational and public programs, the society is helping to preserve the area’s rich cultural heritage.
