The Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Memorial in Aurora, Illinois was erected to honor the Union veterans of the Civil War. It consists of a granite monument with a bronze statue of a Civil War soldier standing atop a plinth. The statue is dressed in the Union Army uniform, with a kepi hat and rifle in his hands, and his head bowed in a moment of reflection.

The memorial is located in the center of the public square in downtown Aurora, near the intersection of Galena Boulevard and Broadway. The monument was unveiled in 1895 by the GAR Post No. 80 and is believed to be the first memorial in the United States erected by a Civil War veterans organization.
