The Weippe Hilltop Heritage Society Inc. is a nonprofit organization located in Weippe, Idaho. It was established in 1977 to preserve and promote the historical, cultural, and natural resources of the Weippe area. Its mission is to provide educational, recreational, and economic opportunities to the community.

The Society is located in the heart of the Clearwater National Forest and is committed to preserving the unique history of the region. The Society owns and manages a variety of historic sites, including the historic Weippe Hotel and the historic Weippe Church. It also works to protect and maintain the natural resources of the area, including its forests, streams, and wildlife.

The Society hosts a variety of educational events and activities, such as lectures, field trips, and hikes. It also hosts an annual Summer Festival that features music, art, food, and fun for the whole family. The Society also sponsors a variety of special events, including a Halloween Walk, a Christmas Festival, and a Summer Concert Series.

The Society is supported by membership dues, grants, and donations. It has a board of directors, staff, and volunteers who work to ensure that its mission is fulfilled. Through its work, the Society helps to ensure that the unique history and natural beauty of the Weippe area is preserved for future generations.

HarV's Elk The Giant White Elk by the Artist Har-V, once adorned the top of the Western Motor Inn in Koosika Idaho.

In the summer of 2022, the Motor Inn was being demolished and the Elk had to be craned onto a flatbed truck and taken to this new home along highway 12 near Syringa Idaho
