Bingham County Historical Society in Blackfoot, Idaho is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history and culture of this rural county in the southeastern corner of the state. The Society was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in a historic building, the former Blackfoot Post Office, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Society's mission is to preserve the history and culture of Bingham County for future generations. The organization collects and preserves oral histories, documents, photographs, artifacts, manuscripts and other materials related to the county. They are also responsible for the maintenance and preservation of several historical sites in the county, including the Blackfoot Post Office, the Ross Fork Campground, and the Sheepwagon Museum.

The Society offers a range of educational programs, including lectures, workshops, and tours, to bring the local history alive. They also publish a quarterly newsletter and mount occasional exhibitions.

The Society is funded through donations, grants, and memberships. They welcome volunteers and anyone interested in the history of Bingham County is invited to join.
