Alabama Constitution Village is a historic site located in the downtown area of Huntsville, Alabama. It is one of the oldest towns in the state and was the birthplace of Alabama’s first constitution in 1819. The village was established in 1817 and is now a living history museum that recreates life in the early 1800s. Visitors can explore the homes, shops, and other buildings in the village to learn about the history of the area.

The centerpiece of the village is the Constitution Hall, which is a replica of the building where the first constitution was drafted. The Hall houses a museum and visitors center, as well as a gift shop and library. Other buildings in the village include the replica of the home of Alabama’s first governor, the replica of the first store, and the replica of the first post office.
