The First Territorial Capital of Idaho Revitalization Project in Lewiston, Idaho is a large-scale revitalization effort to restore and improve the historical grounds of the first territorial capital of Idaho. The project was started in 2017 to bring back the historical significance of the area, provide economic opportunities, and create a space for future generations to experience and appreciate Idaho’s past.

The project is taking place on the grounds of the original territorial capital, which is located in downtown Lewiston. The area is being completely renovated and restored, including the installation of a new park, sidewalks, and street lighting. Additionally, the grounds are being renovated to include a museum, a historic plaza, and a new amphitheater. The project also includes the construction of a replica of the original Idaho capital building, which will serve as a cultural center and a place to showcase the history of the area.

The revitalization project is also providing economic opportunities for the local community. A number of new businesses, such as restaurants and shops, have been opening in the area, which is helping to bring new visitors to the downtown area. Additionally, the project is expected to create hundreds of new jobs in the local area.
