The Medal of Honor Historical Society of the United States in Meridian, Idaho, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the history of the Medal of Honor, the highest military decoration awarded by the United States. The society was founded in 2007 by eleven Medal of Honor recipients, who were determined to ensure the legacy of the Medal of Honor would live on for generations to come.

Taeniatherum caput-medusae - medusahead Medusahead growing in the Boise Foothills just west of Five Mile Creek and just north of Cottonwood Creek and E Shaw Mountain Road, Ada County, Idaho. The Wyoming big sagebrush steppe in this area is highly perturbed and mostly removed because of somewhat recent history of fire and overgrazing. Regardless, medusahead is only one of many introduced plants in this area (along with Japanese brome and intermediate wheatgrass) that coexists with native plant species (including Aristida purpurea longiseta and Elymus elymoides).
