The Idaho Falls Historic Downtown Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The foundation works to preserve, protect and promote the historical significance of the downtown area of Idaho Falls. Established in 1988, the foundation focuses its efforts on sustaining the historical charm of the downtown core for the benefit of the community.

The foundation works to preserve the existing historical buildings in downtown Idaho Falls. They have been instrumental in restoring the historic buildings, such as the Idaho Falls City Hall, the Carnegie Library and the Elks Building. The foundation also works to promote the downtown area as a vibrant business and shopping district with a variety of attractions and amenities.

The foundation also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the Downtown Art Festival, the Art in the Park Festival, and the Historic Downtown Street Fair. These events bring the community together and support the local businesses while highlighting the history and culture of the downtown area.

The foundation also works to educate the community about the importance of historic preservation and works to promote the downtown area as a destination for travelers. They also strive to create a sense of community pride and to make downtown Idaho Falls a great place to live, work and play.
