The Hawaii Army Museum Society is a non-profit organization located in Honolulu, Hawaii, dedicated to preserving the history of the United States Army in the Hawaiian Islands. Its mission is to support and promote the history of the United States Army in the Hawaiian Islands through the collection, preservation, study, and display of artifacts, documents, and photos. The museum consists of two buildings, both of which are open to the public free of charge. The Hawaii Army Museum Society offers a variety of educational and cultural programs, including lectures, tours, and field trips. The society also offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, such as leading tours, helping with research and writing, and aiding with the preservation of artifacts. The museum also holds special events throughout the year, such as Memorial Day ceremonies, Veterans Day celebrations, and lectures on the history of the U.S. Army in Hawaii.
