The National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG) in Kalaheo HI is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and conservation of tropical plants, their habitats, and cultural knowledge associated with them. Founded in 1964, it is the largest and most diverse network of tropical botanical gardens and preserves in the United States. It currently operates five botanical gardens and preserves on the islands of Kauai, Maui, Molokai, Oahu, and Hawaii. The organization also manages a research and conservation program, which focuses on identifying, conserving, and restoring native plants of Hawaii and the tropical Pacific region.

The Kalaheo HI facility consists of over 250 acres of native Hawaiian forest and gardens, and offers a variety of educational programs and events throughout the year. Visitors can explore the grounds of the gardens and take guided tours of the native plant collections. The gardens also feature a variety of tropical plants, including palms, orchids, bromeliads, and ferns.
