The Hawaii Aviation Preservation Society (HAPS) is a volunteer organization dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of aviation in the Hawaiian Islands. Founded in 1999, HAPS is located at the Ewa Beach Airport in Ewa Beach, HI. The mission of the organization is to educate the public on the importance of aviation in Hawaii, as well as to promote and preserve the history and heritage of aviation in the Hawaiian Islands.

The members of HAPS are committed to supporting the many aviation-related activities that take place in Hawaii, such as air shows, open houses, fly-ins, and other special events. HAPS also works to restore and maintain vintage aircraft, providing educational opportunities for the public. Additionally, HAPS works to preserve the history and heritage of Hawaii’s aviation industry by collecting and maintaining artifacts, photographs, and other memorabilia.

HAPS is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations to the organization are tax deductible. HAPS also relies on volunteers to help support its mission. Volunteers assist with aircraft restoration and maintenance, as well as other tasks such as fundraising and event planning.

HAPS is always looking for new members and volunteers to help further its mission. By becoming a member or volunteering with HAPS, you can contribute to the preservation of Hawaii’s aviation history and heritage.
