Huliheʻe Palace is a historic landmark and tourist attraction located in the Kailua-Kona district of the Big Island of Hawaii. Built in the late 19th century, the palace is a two-story structure of coral blocks and lava rocks that stands on the waterfront of Kailua Bay. Owned by the state of Hawaii, the palace is open to the public and serves as a museum.

Huliheʻe Palace was originally built in 1838 by Governor John Adams Kuakini as a residence for Hawaiian royalty and visiting dignitaries. It was named after its first owner, Prince Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole, who was the last surviving member of the royal family. The palace was later renovated and expanded by his widow, Princess Ruth Keʻelikōlani.

The palace features several distinct rooms, including a large parlor, a reception hall, and a dining room, as well as a library, a music room, and a kitchen. It also contains artifacts from the royal family, such as furniture and artwork, as well as historic photographs and items from the royal court.

Visitors to the palace can explore the grounds and learn about the history of the Hawaiian monarchy. Guided tours are available and visitors can view a traditional Hawaiian hula performance, watch a Hawaiian music performance, and participate in a traditional Hawaiian luau. The palace also hosts special events, such as art classes, craft classes, and cultural workshops.

Huliheʻe Palace is an important part of local Hawaiian culture and history and is a must-see for any visitor to Kailua-Kona.
