The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865 (DUV) is a fraternal organization in Cumming, Georgia dedicated to preserving the legacy of Union veterans from the American Civil War. The group was founded in 1885 by the widow of a Union veteran and the first president of the organization was the daughter of a Union veteran. DUV is the only fraternal organization exclusively dedicated to honoring the women who served in the Civil War and the Union veterans who fought for the preservation of the Union.

Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865 in Cumming, Georgia is committed to maintaining the memory and honor of Union veterans and the preservation of related historical documents, artifacts, and monuments. The organization also works to promote public education and support programs that promote patriotism, respect for the flag, and appreciation for the Union’s history.
