Augusta State University (ASU) is a public university located in Augusta, Georgia. Founded in 1925, ASU is part of the University System of Georgia and is accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

ASU offers more than 100 programs of study and degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including certificates. Popular undergraduate majors include nursing, business administration, biology, and psychology. The university also offers online and hybrid programs.
