COLUMBUS BOTANICAL GARDEN

The Columbus Botanical Garden is a 17-acre public garden in Columbus, Georgia. It is a living museum of plants, featuring a variety of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation. Located in the historic district of Uptown Columbus, the garden is home to a diverse array of plants, including native Georgia species, as well as exotic and rare plants from around the world.

The heart of the garden is the Garden Hall, a 3,500-square-foot glass-enclosed building showcasing a variety of tropical plants from around the world. Other features include the Grand Garden, a formal garden with allées of trees and shrubs, and the Fragrant Garden, a sensory garden filled with fragrant plants.

The Columbus Botanical Garden also hosts a variety of educational programs and events, such as lectures, workshops, and classes. Visitors can also take part in guided tours of the garden, as well as attend festivals, concerts, and other special events.

The garden is open to the public from April through October. Admission is free, though donations are welcome. The garden is a popular destination for families, nature lovers, and those looking to explore the beauty of the natural world in Columbus.
