It's unusual for me to consider posting a color version of a photo that I originally posted in black-and-white.  And...really, there was nothing wrong with the original, a very <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/wrherndon/4601950602/in/album-72177720315376572/">moody shot</a>.  But the color version is so different.  It almost sparkles.  It deserved to be seen.

The Jim-Ree African American Museum in Elberton, GA is a unique and important part of the city's history. Established in 1994, the museum is dedicated to preserving and exhibiting the history of Elberton's African American community. The museum is housed in a former school building, which was constructed in the early 1900s and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
