The Historic Douglass Theatre in Macon, Georgia is a historic performance venue and cultural center in the city's downtown. Built in 1921, the theatre was the first black-owned theatre in Macon and one of the earliest in the state of Georgia. The theatre was built by the Douglass Brothers, two African American entrepreneurs from Macon. The theatre was originally intended to host vaudeville shows, however it also served as a movie theatre and eventually a live music venue, hosting some of the earliest performances of blues, jazz and gospel music.

The theatre was a major cultural hub for the African American community in Macon, hosting some of the most renowned performers of the time including Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles and B.B. King. The theatre eventually fell into disrepair in the 1960s and was closed in 1977. After a successful fundraising campaign, the theatre was restored to its original glory in the mid-1990s and reopened as a multi-purpose venue. Today, the theatre hosts a variety of events such as live music, theatrical productions and educational programs. The theatre also serves as a community center, offering classes and workshops for both adults and children. The Historic Douglass Theatre is a vibrant example of the city's rich cultural history and an important part of Macon's cultural landscape.
