Smith Plantation Home is located in Roswell, Georgia, and is a classic example of antebellum architecture. Built in 1845 by Major James Smith, the two-story, Greek Revival-style house sits on a 104-acre plot of land. The house is constructed of brick and wood, with a two-story portico supported by four Doric-style columns. The main house is surrounded by an expansive front lawn and a large garden in the back.

Inside, the house is full of furniture, artwork and artifacts from the family's history. The house is divided into several rooms, including a sitting room, dining room, parlor, kitchen, bedrooms, and several other rooms. The house also contains a library, which is filled with books from the 19th century.

Smith Plantation Home is now part of the Roswell Historic District, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is open to the public for guided tours, and visitors can learn about the history of the plantation and its owners. The grounds are also open to the public, and feature several walking trails and a lake, perfect for a relaxing stroll.
