The prominently featured house is the Campbell-Jordan house.  The brick building on the right is the Mary Willis Library.  The church on the left might be the 1826 Presbyterian church.  The coins in the top left represent the confederate treasury which was stored in town.  Among the commercial district storefronts at the top is the Fitzpatrick Hotel.

The Georgia Baptist Historical Society in Washington, GA, is a non-profit organization established in 1945 to preserve and promote the history of Baptists in Georgia. The Society serves as a repository for books, documents, artifacts, and other items related to Baptist history in the state. It is governed by a board of trustees and is open to the public.
