Emory University is a private research university located in Atlanta, Georgia. It was founded in 1836 and is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the United States. The university has a total enrollment of about 15,000 students, making it the 26th largest university in the nation.

Busy Skies over Atlanta A composite of 123 twenty second exposures were taken of the central Atlanta skyline. By stacking the short exposures in StarStaX, a total exposure time of 41 minutes was achieved. The photograph was made from a balcony on the twelfth floor of the Omni Hotel. Centennial Olympic Park can be seen in front of the infamous SkyView illuminated Ferris wheel. Multiple medical helicopters can be seen landing on the roof of the Emory University hospital near the left of the photograph.
