It's unusual for me to consider posting a color version of a photo that I originally posted in black-and-white.  And...really, there was nothing wrong with the original, a very <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/wrherndon/4601950602/in/album-72177720315376572/">moody shot</a>.  But the color version is so different.  It almost sparkles.  It deserved to be seen.

The National Alliance of Preservation Commissions (NAPC) is a non-profit organization based in Athens, Georgia. Founded in 1991, the NAPC is dedicated to the preservation of historic buildings, sites, and neighborhoods throughout the United States. The NAPC works to increase public awareness of the importance of historic preservation and to provide resources to local preservation commissions. They also provide educational and technical assistance to members.
