The Georgia Army National Guard Aviation Museum Inc. in Atlanta, GA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, maintenance and display of military aviation artifacts and memorabilia of the United States Army National Guard. The museum was established in 1988 and is located on the grounds of Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, GA. The museum features an extensive collection of aircraft, artifacts, and memorabilia from the National Guard’s aviation history, including the Georgia Army National Guard’s first military aircraft, the Bell UH-1 Huey.

The museum’s collection includes an extensive display of aircraft that have been flown and maintained by the Georgia Army National Guard, such as the Bell UH-1H and UH-1N Huey, Boeing CH-47 Chinook, and the Bell OH-58 Kiowa. Other military aircraft include the C-47 Skytrain, C-130 Hercules, C-23 Sherpa, UH-60 Blackhawk, and AH-64 Apache. In addition to aircraft, the museum also displays various artifacts, such as uniforms, equipment, photographs, and documents.

The museum also offers educational programs, such as guided tours and workshops. The museum also hosts a variety of special events, such as the Georgia National Guard’s Annual Aviation Day, which celebrates the service of the Georgia National Guard’s aviation units. In addition, the museum also sponsors a summer camp for children ages 8-17, which offers hands-on activities and educational opportunities for students interested in aviation.

The Georgia Army National Guard Aviation Museum Inc. is open to the public and admission is free. The museum is open from 9am to 5pm Monday through Saturday and from 12pm to 5pm on Sundays.
