Cockspur Island Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse located on the southern tip of Tybee Island in Chatham County, Georgia. It was built in 1854 by the United States government and is the oldest lighthouse in Georgia. The lighthouse stands 65 feet tall and is composed of brick with a cast-iron lantern room at the top. The lighthouse has a distinctive red and white spiral pattern on the exterior, which was created by painting the brick in alternating colors.

The original light used in the lighthouse was a fourth-order Fresnel lens that produced a white light every five seconds. The light had a range of 13 nautical miles, which was enough to guide ships safely into the Savannah River. The lighthouse was automated in 1964, but the Fresnel lens was removed and replaced by a modern beacon.

Cockspur Island Lighthouse is still an active aid to navigation and is owned and operated by the United States Coast Guard. The lighthouse is not open to the public, but visitors can get a view of it from a nearby beach or boat. It is a popular tourist attraction and is a popular spot for photographers.
