The Arizona Mining and Mineral Museum Friends of (AMMMF) is a non-profit organization located in Phoenix, Arizona, which seeks to promote the appreciation and understanding of Arizona's mining and mineral heritage. The museum is dedicated to educating the public about the history and importance of mining and minerals in the state, as well as the natural history of Arizona. AMMMF was founded in 1984 and operates in partnership with the Arizona Department of Mines and Mineral Resources.

The museum houses an impressive collection of minerals and mining artifacts, including minerals from Arizona and other states, as well as mining equipment and tools. Visitors to the museum can learn about the geology of the state, explore the history of mining in Arizona, and discover the variety of minerals found in the state. Exhibits are interactive and include a number of hands-on activities.

The museum also offers educational programs and workshops, lectures, and field trips, as well as guided tours of the museum and its exhibits. The museum is open to the public Monday through Saturday and hosts several special events throughout the year, such as its annual Mineral and Fossil Show.

In addition to its educational programming, the AMMMF also works to conserve and protect Arizona's mining heritage and to support research and education initiatives. The organization is committed to promoting the appreciation and understanding of Arizona's mining and mineral heritage.
