The Habersham County Wall of Honor Inc is a nonprofit organization located in Cornelia, Georgia. The organization's mission is to honor and recognize the sacrifices of the men and women of Habersham County who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The Wall of Honor is an outdoor memorial display that features the names of over 1,400 veterans from Habersham County who have served in all branches of the military.
The Wall of Honor was initially founded in 2003 and has since been updated with additional names and plaques. The organization is solely funded by donations and fundraising events, and all funds are used for the maintenance and upkeep of the Wall of Honor.
In addition to the memorial display, the Habersham County Wall of Honor Inc also hosts an annual Veterans Day ceremony to honor and recognize the veterans of Habersham County. The ceremony includes a wreath-laying ceremony, guest speakers, patriotic music, and a reading of the names of the veterans listed on the Wall of Honor.
