The Aragon Historical Society is a non-profit organization located in Aragon, Georgia. Founded in 1982, the society is dedicated to preserving local history and culture by collecting, preserving, and disseminating information related to the history of Aragon and its people. The Society also works to promote community involvement in the preservation of the town’s heritage.
The Aragon Historical Society is governed by a Board of Directors who are elected annually. They are responsible for the overall management of the Society including the activities, events, and projects of the Society. The Board works closely with the Aragon City Council and the Haralson County Historical Society to ensure that the history of the area is preserved and shared with the public.
