The Arizona Folklore Preserve (AFP) is a not-for-profit organization located in Hereford, Arizona. Founded in 1991, the AFP exists to preserve and promote the culture, music, and stories of the people of the Southwest. The AFP's mission is to foster an appreciation of the unique cultural heritage of the region. The preserve is home to a variety of activities, including concerts, workshops, and classes.

The AFP's main event is the Hereford Heritage Festival, held every year in October. The festival features live music, traditional dancing, and storytelling, as well as arts and crafts, workshops, and demonstrations. The AFP also hosts other events throughout the year, such as the Desert Song Festival, a celebration of traditional music, and the Spring Festival of Traditional Arts and Crafts.

The AFP also features a library, which contains books, recordings, and oral histories about the Southwest. The library is open to the public and is a valuable source of information about the history and culture of the people of the region.

The AFP is committed to preserving the cultural heritage of the Southwest and is an important resource for the local community. It is a unique organization that serves as a bridge between the past and the present, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience the traditional culture of the region.
