The Lee County Black History Society is a non-profit organization based in Fort Myers, Florida. The society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich history and culture of African Americans in Lee County, Florida, and the surrounding areas. The society was founded in 1989 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized the importance of preserving the history of African Americans in the area.

The society conducts research, collects artifacts, and documents the history of African Americans in Lee County. The society also organizes educational programs and events to promote awareness and appreciation of African American history and culture. The society has a museum that features exhibits showcasing the contributions and achievements of African Americans in Lee County and beyond.
