FORT CHRISTMAS HISTORICAL PARK is a 100-acre site located in Christmas, Florida. Established in 1837, it was originally a U.S. army post called Fort Christmas. The fort was part of the Second Seminole War and was constructed to protect settlers in the area. Today, it is a living history museum that preserves and interprets the area's rich military and cultural history and is open to the public year-round.
