The North Bay Clan of the Lower Creek Muscogee Tribe Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Chipley, Florida. Founded in 1998, the organization seeks to preserve the culture and traditions of the Creek Indians of the Southeast United States. The North Bay Clan is a federally recognized tribe, with members from all of the major Creek Indian tribes. The organization is dedicated to the revitalization of traditional Creek Indian ways and culture, and also seeks to educate the public about the history and current affairs of the Creek Indians.

The North Bay Clan of the Lower Creek Muscogee Tribe Inc. is a member of the United South and Eastern Tribes (USET) and the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI). The organization runs a variety of programs and activities to help preserve the culture, including language and cultural classes, traditional and contemporary art classes, and traditional Creek Indian ceremonies. The organization also coordinates with other Creek Indian organizations to promote educational, cultural, and economic opportunities for members of the tribe.

The North Bay Clan of the Lower Creek Muscogee Tribe Inc. has its own tribal court system and a tribal council which meets regularly to discuss issues affecting the tribe. The organization also sponsors annual events and festivals to celebrate tribal culture and raise awareness about the Creek Indian tribes. Through these activities, the North Bay Clan of the Lower Creek Muscogee Tribe Inc. is helping to keep alive the history and culture of the Creek Indians.

Jeanna Jeanna, our pet cow, was part of our family close to 30 years. I took this picture of her on our farm. She had been left by the herd and didn't realize it. She was eager to rejoin them.

Jeanna loved to be petted and scratched. Her favorite treat was an ear of corn. She was born on our farm and her mother's name was Sweetie. She was a pet as well. Guess it ran in the family. Sadly, she passed away recently. We loved her very much. She was just as much a member of our family as a dog or cat would be. We will miss her running up to us to be noticed and loved on and especially to receive her ear of corn &quot;treat.&quot; : )

ᵂⁱⁿᵗᵉʳ ᵀⁱᵐᵉ ᵃᵗ ᴮˡᵘᵉ ᴸᵃᵏᵉ 💙 [Explore] ◡̈ This is a picture of part of Blue Lake in Chipley, Florida. I was on the walking path when I took this picture. As you can see, the trees in the front have lost their leaves completely and the ones in the background still have theirs'. (That's Florida for you!) It is a public park with all the amenities. It's been a part of my life since I was a child. I did swim in it when I was younger, but, I'm too old now. : ) Needless to say, I have many great memories of this place. It's good to know many other families will be able to enjoy it as much as I did...

Fall in Chipley, Florida [Explore] ◡̈ Florida is not usually considered as being an area where Fall makes itself known with all of the displays of beautiful foliage, but Northwest Florida is the exception. Grant you, it does not compare to the colors of the Smoky Mountains leaves, but, hey....we'll take these and enjoy them very much. Hope you enjoy my hometown's beauty during this most beautiful season of the year!
