The Original Florida Hall of Fame Highwaymen Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Fort Pierce, Florida. Founded in 1993, the organization is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Florida Highwaymen, a group of African-American landscape painters who created their artwork in the 1950s and 1960s.

The organization’s mission is to honor the legacy of the Highwaymen by preserving their artwork and providing educational outreach and support to the community. To accomplish this, they host art shows, art classes, and other events to promote the art of the Highwaymen. They also provide assistance to members of the community who are interested in buying or selling artwork from the Highwaymen.

The Highwaymen were a diverse group of 26 African-American painters who painted Florida landscapes on canvas and board. Their work can be found in museums, galleries, and private collections around the world. The original members of the group included Alfred Hair, Harold Newton, Mary Ann Carroll, Al Black, Livingston Roberts, and Johnny Daniels.

The Original Florida Hall of Fame Highwaymen Inc. was founded to honor the legacy of these self-taught painters and to ensure that the public is aware of their contribution to the art world. The organization has been successful in its mission, and the art of the Highwaymen is now celebrated around the world.
