The Historic Hernando Preservation Society (HHPS) is a non-profit organization located in Brooksville, Florida, dedicated to preserving and protecting the county's rich cultural and historical resources. The Society was founded in 1992 by a group of local citizens who saw the need to preserve the area's important historical sites and artifacts. Since then, the Society has grown to include a variety of programs and initiatives to help preserve the local history and culture.

The Society works to educate the public and promote the appreciation of the county's history through educational programs and outreach efforts.
