The Amelia Island Fernandina Restoration Foundation Inc. (AIFRF) is a non-profit organization based in Fernandina Beach, Florida. The organization was founded in 1983 to help preserve and protect the natural, cultural and historical resources of Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach. The mission of AIFRF is to promote the preservation of Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach by supporting and encouraging the preservation, conservation, and restoration of their natural, cultural and historical resources.

AIFRF works to protect and preserve the Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach area through a variety of programs and initiatives. These include programs to restore and protect the area’s environment, such as the protection of wetlands, coastal areas, and wildlife; the preservation of historic buildings and sites; and the support of local businesses and organizations. Additionally, AIFRF works to educate the community about the importance of preserving the island’s natural, cultural, and historical resources.

The organization works with a variety of partners, including local, state, and federal agencies, as well as other non-profit organizations, to help achieve its goals. AIFRF also hosts a number of events and activities throughout the year, such as lectures, workshops, and tours, to promote their mission and help educate the public about the importance of conservation and restoration.

AIFRF is committed to preserving the unique environment and history of Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach for generations to come. The organization strives to create a sustainable future for the island and its inhabitants through their efforts to protect and restore its natural, cultural, and historical resources.
