The Thomas Edison and Henry Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers, Florida, is a 20-acre (8.1-hectare) estate that celebrates the lives and achievements of two of America's greatest inventors. The grounds include the Edison and Ford winter homes, the Edison Botanical Research Laboratory, a museum, a garden, a butterfly house, and a research laboratory.

The Edison home is a two-story, 10,000-square-foot (929-square-meter) house constructed in 1886. It contains many of Edison's original furnishings, including his Edison phonographs, Edison lighting fixtures, and a variety of personal artifacts.

The Ford home, constructed in 1916, is a five-bedroom, three-bathroom house that has been restored to its original state. The home contains many of Ford's original furnishings, including a Model T, Edison's original desk, and a variety of Ford memorabilia.

The Edison Botanical Research Laboratory was built in 1913 and served as Edison's winter laboratory. It contains a variety of scientific equipment, such as microscopes, laboratory glass, and a variety of plants.

The museum houses a variety of artifacts from Edison and Ford's lives and careers, including Edison phonographs, Edison light bulbs, Ford automobiles, and Ford memorabilia.

The garden includes a variety of plants, trees, and flowers that Edison and Ford planted during their time in Fort Myers.

The butterfly house, which opened in 2016, is a three-story building that houses more than 50 species of butterflies.

The research laboratory houses a variety of scientific equipment, including microscopes and laboratory glass, that Edison and Ford used for their research.

Visitors can explore the grounds of the Thomas Edison and Henry Ford Winter Estates through guided and self-guided tours. The estate also offers educational programs and special events, such as weddings and other celebrations.
