The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens in Jacksonville, Florida is a renowned center for the arts and sciences. Founded in 1961, the Cummer Museum was established through the bequest of art collector and philanthropist Ninah Cummer. The museum is home to a collection of over 5,000 works of art and artifacts, ranging from ancient to modern times. The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens is located on the banks of the St. Johns River in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. The museum is open seven days a week and is accessible via Jacksonville’s Skyway system. Admission is free for members and children under five years old. Admission for non-members is $10 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $4 for children ages 6-17.
