Coral Gables Merrick House is an historic home located in Coral Gables, Florida. The house was built in 1902 by George Merrick, the founder of Coral Gables. The two-story home is a prime example of the Mediterranean Revival style of architecture, which was popular in the early 20th century. The interior of the house has been restored to its original grandeur, with ornate moldings, hand-painted tiles, and antique furnishings. In addition to the main house, the property includes a tea house, which was added in the 1920s as a place for George Merrick's wife to entertain guests. The tea house has been restored and is available to rent for special events.
