KNOTT HOUSE MUSEUM

The Knott House Museum, located in Tallahassee, Florida, is an historic house museum which was built in 1901. It was the home of Florida's first Attorney General, Francis P. Fleming, and his family. The house was built in the Neo-Classical Revival style and is a two-story frame structure with a hip roof. The interior features high ceilings, original woodwork, and period furnishings.

The museum offers visitors the opportunity to learn about Florida's history and the life of the Fleming family. There are guided tours of the house which provide an in-depth look at the architecture and furnishings of the home. The museum also hosts special events and educational programs throughout the year.

The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a contributing structure in the Adams Street Historic District. It is owned and operated by the Historic Tallahassee Preservation Board. The museum is open to the public and admission is free. The grounds are open every day from 9am to 5pm and the museum is open Tuesday through Saturday.
