The Foreign Affairs Museum Council (FAMC) is an independent, non-profit organization in Washington, DC dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the history of international relations. Founded in 1995, FAMC works to ensure that the history of foreign affairs is accessible to all. The museum council has a board of directors and staff, and works in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution, the U.S. Department of State, and other organizations to develop exhibits, educational programming, and other public programs.
