The Greenseed Community Garden Land Trust in Washington DC is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to local, sustainable and affordable food for underserved communities. Founded in 2016, Greenseed is dedicated to providing education, resources and access to land for urban gardening and farming.

The organization works to create a more equitable food system in DC by providing access to land, resources and information to community members, especially those from low-income backgrounds. Greenseed offers technical assistance and resources to help people create community gardens and urban farms on vacant or underutilized land. They also provide educational workshops and seminars to help people learn how to grow their own food and become sustainable farmers.

Greenseed works with a variety of partners, including local government agencies, universities, corporations and other organizations, to create and maintain community gardens and urban farms in DC. The organization also works to increase access to fresh and healthy food in food deserts, as well as to provide economic opportunities for underserved communities.

Greenseed's mission is to promote food sovereignty and sustainable living within the DC community by increasing access to land and resources, educating people on urban gardening and farming, and creating economic opportunities for underserved communities. Greenseed is committed to creating a healthier, more equitable food system in DC.
