The Constance Whitaker Maffin Memorial Fund (CWM) is a non-profit, charitable organization based in Washington, DC. Established in 1966, the CWM works to protect the interests of children and to ensure that they are provided with a safe and nurturing environment in which to live, learn and grow.

CWM works to promote and support the development of children by providing educational, health-care and recreational services, resources and programs to families in the Washington, DC area. CWM also provides educational scholarships to underprivileged students, and supports the development of youth-centered programs and projects.

CWM is dedicated to creating a strong and vibrant community in Washington, DC, by promoting positive growth and development of the district’s children. The organization is committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect, and the promotion of healthy family dynamics.

CWM has a board of directors that consists of individuals who are experienced in the fields of child welfare, education and child development. The organization also works with a number of partner organizations and institutions, such as the DC Department of Human Services, the DC Public Schools, the DC Child and Family Services Agency, the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education, and the DC Office of the Attorney General.

CWM is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax deductible. The organization also accepts in-kind donations, such as volunteer hours and services. Through its commitment to providing quality services and resources to the children and families of Washington, DC, CWM is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those it serves.
