The Old Naval Hospital Foundation (ONHF) is a non-profit organization located in Washington, D.C. dedicated to the preservation and reuse of the Old Naval Hospital. This building, constructed in 1864, served as a hospital for the U.S. Navy until the 1920s. Since then it has served as a veterans' home, a police training facility, and a community center.

The ONHF works to ensure that this historic building continues to serve the community. The Foundation is responsible for the maintenance and preservation of the facility, and works to find new uses for the building that are in keeping with its historic character.

The Foundation also serves as a bridge between the city and the community, providing educational and cultural programming that is accessible to all. Through events, classes and lectures, visitors can discover the history of the building, the stories of those who served there, and the impact it has had on the community.

In addition to its preservation and programming efforts, the Foundation also serves as an advocate for the community, working with local and federal government agencies to ensure that the Old Naval Hospital is a treasured part of the city. The ONHF strives to create a vibrant cultural hub in the heart of Washington, D.C. that honors the history of the Old Naval Hospital and the people who have served there.
