The American Poetry Museum in Washington, DC is the first of its kind in the nation, dedicated to the celebration and preservation of American poetry. Founded in 2012, the museum is a non-profit organization that serves to promote and foster an appreciation for the diverse and dynamic landscape of American poetry.

The museum offers a variety of programs and exhibitions that pay homage to the history and legacy of American poetry.
