Tudor Place Foundation, Inc. is an historic house museum in Washington, D.C. that was originally the home of Martha Parke Custis Peter, granddaughter of Martha Washington. The mansion and gardens have been open to the public since 1987 and showcase an impressive collection of American decorative arts.

The mansion itself was built in 1816 by architect William Thornton and is considered one of the finest examples of Federal-period architecture in the city. It is composed of 12 distinct rooms, including the library, drawing room, and dining room, each of which contains furniture and other items that belonged to the original family.

The gardens at Tudor Place are equally impressive and include a terraced flower garden, a boxwood garden, and a rose garden. The gardens also feature a variety of sculptures, including two by John Hoppner, a bust of George Washington, and a bronze statue of Martha Washington.

In addition to the mansion and gardens, Tudor Place also houses a research library and an education center. The research library contains a collection of books, photographs, and manuscripts related to the Peter and Custis families, as well as other topics related to Washington, D.C. history. The education center offers a variety of programs and activities for children and adults, including lectures, hands-on activities, and educational tours.
