Delaware State University (DSU) is a historically black, public university and the state’s only HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities). Located in Dover, DE, DSU was established in 1891 and is part of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. DSU is organized into five colleges, including the College of Agriculture and Related Sciences, the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, the College of Business, the College of Education, Health and Public Policy, and the College of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Technology.

DSU offers over 50 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as certificate programs. The university also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including student organizations, intramural sports, and an array of social and cultural events.

The university has a strong commitment to community service and offers a variety of volunteer and service learning opportunities. In addition, the university is committed to promoting the success of both its students and alumni. DSU has an active Career Services Office that provides career counseling, job placement assistance, and a wide range of workshops to help students prepare for the job market.

DSU is located on a beautiful 500-acre campus in Dover and provides a variety of amenities, including a campus recreation center, a student center, a library, and on-campus housing.
