The Dover Art League (DAL) is a non-profit organization located in Dover, Delaware dedicated to promoting the visual arts, fostering creativity and striving to build a strong artistic presence in the community.

The DAL was founded in 1961 and has since been a driving force in the Dover community for the advancement and appreciation of art. It offers a variety of activities and events such as art classes, workshops, exhibitions, and outreach programs. The DAL is open to all skill levels and strives to provide an environment in which artists can learn and grow.

The DAL has a permanent home located in the historic building of the former Delaware State Teachers College in Dover. This facility houses a gallery and studio, which provide the perfect place for artists to display their work. The DAL also provides workshops and classes in a variety of mediums including photography, sculpture, painting, printmaking, and ceramics.

The DAL also puts on an annual juried art show, offers art scholarships to local high school seniors, and works with local organizations to bring art to the community.

The Dover Art League is a great resource for the Dover community, providing a space for artists to learn, create and exhibit their work, and an opportunity for the community to appreciate and support the visual arts.
