The Underground Railroad Coalition of Delaware Northeast Undergr in Dover, DE is an organization dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of the Underground Railroad. Founded in 1999, the organization’s mission is to honor the past, provide education and promote the development of a sense of identity for those involved in the Underground Railroad. The coalition is a partnership of individuals and organizations that includes museums, libraries, historical societies, and community groups.

The coalition works to document and preserve the sites, stories, and artifacts associated with the Underground Railroad in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Through its research and educational programs, the Coalition seeks to bring awareness to the contributions of the Underground Railroad to our nation’s history. The Coalition also works to promote the preservation of Underground Railroad resources and sites through public programs, lectures, educational materials, websites, and other media.

The Coalition sponsors a variety of educational and cultural events throughout the year, including lectures, film screenings, and tours of Underground Railroad sites. The Coalition also has a library of books, films, and other materials related to the Underground Railroad. Additionally, the Coalition participates in a number of public and private projects to help preserve and promote the history of the Underground Railroad.

The Underground Railroad Coalition of Delaware Northeast Undergr is committed to preserving the history of the Underground Railroad and sharing it with the community. Through its educational and public programs, the Coalition seeks to honor the past and ensure that its legacy is remembered.
